Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

To become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you are required to be 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED, complete a BACB accredited 40-hour course, pass a competency assessment performed by a BCBA, and pass the BACB’s board exam. More resources are linked below.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

To become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you must obtain a qualifying master’s degree from an accredited program, complete a qualifying course sequence, 2000 supervised fieldwork hours (or 1500 concentrated fieldwork hours), and pass the BACB’s board exam.
